The Menicon E is a hard contact lens with fully aspheric back surface in variable eccentricity.
The lens is offered in two materials:
Menicon Z (Tisilfocon A) - DK 160 - highly gas permeable, for extended wear and with UV filter
Menicon EX (Tolofocon A) - DK 64 - normal gas permeable material without UV filterPlease

All Menicon lenses are engraved with an engraving. It is located on the edge of the lens and is barely visible to the naked eye. Under a strong magnifying glass or a corneal microscope, however, it can be very quickly recognized whether it is the right or left lens in case of confusion.
