Septosol (red) - disinfectant solution with 3% hydrogen peroxide - BBD 11/2024
Septosol is a disinfecting solution with 3% hydrogen peroxide.
With Septosol all soft contact lenses can be disinfected.
Neutrasol is used for neutralization.
Application:
Before handling contact lenses, please wash your hands thoroughly.
Remove contact lenses from the eye. To remove dirt particles and superficial deposits the contact lens should be rinsed with CL KS. Fill the contact lens case with SeptoSol up to the mark and then store the contact lenses for at least 20 minutes. (Shaking several times will help the cleaning and disinfection process). Pour away SeptoSol, carefully rinse the container and the contact lenses with NeutraSol and fill up to the mark.
Do not close the container tightly during the neutralization period due to gas formation.
Note:
SeptoSol is highly irritating and must not be allowed to enter the eye. In case of emergency, rinse the open eye with plenty of water. If eye irritation occurs, remove contact lenses immediately and consult a contact lens specialist immediately. A neutralization time of at least 20 minutes must be observed. The contact lenses can then remain in NeutraSol until reinserted. Rinse the contact lenses with NeutraSol or CL KS before insertion.
After removing the contact lenses, rinse the container as well as the cap and basket with water as warm as possible and allow to dry.
