The ECCO comfort plus Zoom is a multifocal monthly disposable contact lens made from the latest silicone hydrogel.
Thanks to its innovative technology, which incorporates cross-linking agents into the material and offers high water-binding capacity, the contact lens delivers exceptional comfort. An additional coating also helps prevent the build-up of deposits. And the integrated high-definition optics reduce aberrations.
The ECCO comfort plus Zoom is particularly suitable for eyes with high oxygen requirements and for very long daily wear times.
Functional principle: simultaneous
With the simultaneous principle, the distance vision zone is located in the centre and the near vision zone in the adjacent periphery of the contact lens, or vice versa.
The simultaneous placement of the distance and near zones within the pupil area always results in a simultaneous (simultaneous) image of the distance and near zones. Ideally, the unwanted image (distance or near range) is suppressed by the brain and not perceived.
A very small pupil opening or an off-centre fit of the lens can impair visual performance.
