ZEISS Contact Day 1 multifocal - trial lenses
Modern, multifocal daily lens for distance and near vision.
In contrast to many other multifocal daily lenses, the central zone is provided with the distance effect. This is followed by a transition zone and then the distance zone. Thus the television sharpness has priority. The lens is therefore ideal for "newcomers to reading glasses". It is not suitable for higher addition requirements.
Functional principle: simultaneous
With the simultaneous functional principle, the distance effect is located in the centre and the near effect in the adjacent periphery of the contact lens or vice versa.
Due to the simultaneous placement of the far and near zones in the pupil area, there is always a simultaneous (simultaneous) image of the far and near zones. The currently undesired image (far or near) is ideally suppressed by the brain and not perceived.
A very small pupil opening or an off-center lens fit can affect visual performance.
