BIAS diagnostic lens

Diagnostic lenses are used to check for proper fit and correct lens power.
It is not possible to choose among different lens materials.
Diagnostic lenses have a slightly stronger tint (greenish or violet) than normal lenses.
Diagnostic lenses are designed for a maximum wearing time of 4 weeks.

The BIAS has a biaspheric back surface design. Like the ASCON®, the central back surface area is spherical up to an angle of 14°. After that, the first aspherical zone with low eccentricity begins. This fitting zone allows a uniform support and leads to a large-area pressure distribution. The peripheral asphere with high eccentricity represents the comfort zone. It causes a smooth glide during lens movement and supports a centric fit.
In addition to the standard back surface offered here, BIAS also offers several special forms with toric back surfaces:
