These sunglasses are equipped with polarizing lenses.  Polarizing sunglasses have the same protective effect against UV radiation as conventional sunglasses lenses, but in addition they work even more effectively, because they not only attenuate the incident light, but also ensure the almost complete reduction of glare. This is achieved by the so-called polarization filter, which does not allow light from reflecting objects to pass through.

A special film in the sunglasses lens absorbs any light reflections so that they cannot reach the eye. In addition, contrasts are displayed more sharply and the eye tires less quickly.

This improved glare protection is particularly noticeable at the beach or in traffic, as reflections occur in these situations that are particularly strenuous on the eye.
