The MyDay daily disposable is the third generation silicone hydrogel lens.
The unique material of the MyDay daily disposable allows for a network of silicone channels that transport oxygen much more efficiently than current silicone hydrogel contact lenses. Thanks to this process, less silicone material is needed. The reduced silicone hydrogel material allows for a higher percentage of hydrophilic material, such as you find in the comfortable hydrogel contact lenses.
The high water content of the MyDay daily disposable of 54 percent wets the contact lens surface continuously throughout the day without additional surface coating. The integrated UV filter provides additional protection for your eyes.
