The two natural tear substitutes are continuously delivered to the eyes throughout the day, moisturizing and protecting them.
Afocal design. There is no need to consider pulley size and anterior chamber depth and the associated calculation of distance and near zones. The brain does not have to get used to the optics. The specification of an addition is omitted. The lens power is calculated from the lens value for distance plus an age-dependent correction value, which is usually about half of the addition.
Example:
distance value = -3.50 dpt. / addition = +2.00 dpt. The order value is then: -3.50 + (+1.00) = -2.50 dpt.
