ECCO silicone comfort zoom
The ECCO silicone comfort Zoom is a multifocal aspheric monthly disposable contact lens made of silicone hydrogel.
Through an innovative production technology, the lens achieves unique wetting and wearing properties. This is due to a diffusion technique that binds hyaluronic gel to the surface of the material. The extremely hydrophilic hyaluron guarantees above-average water binding, excellent wetting and long-lasting wearing comfort. A slim design, balanced water content and high oxygen permeability round off the properties of ECCO silicone comfort.
ECCO silicone comfort also has something to offer in terms of spontaneous tolerance. The contact lens is stored in the blister in an unpreserved saline solution enriched with hyaluron. When the contact lens is put on, the hyaluronic acid lies like a cushion between the contact lens and the cornea, where it provides a comfortable feeling from the very first time the lens is worn or fitted.
Functional principle: simultaneous
With the simultaneous functional principle, the distance effect is located in the center and the near effect in the adjacent periphery of the contact lens or vice versa.
The simultaneous placement of the distance and near zones in the area of the pupil always results in a simultaneous (simultaneous) image of the distance and near zones. Ideally, the image that is currently undesirable (far or near zone) is suppressed by the brain and not perceived.
A very small pupil opening or an off-center fit of the lens can impair visual performance.
