Biofinity Multifocal
This silicone hydrogel lens offers a high water content in the lens and provides optimal comfort due to its soft and flexible material. The perfect balance between water and exceptionally high oxygen permeability makes the Biofinity feel completely natural. The lenses have a flexible wearing time and are also suitable for overnight wear.
Available in 2 addition variants:
N = for the non-dominant eye
D = for the far dominant eye (leading eye).
D = for the far dominant eye (leading eye).
Functional principle: simultaneous
With the simultaneous function principle, the distance effect is located in the center and the near effect in the adjacent periphery of the contact lens or vice versa.
Due to the simultaneous placement of the far and near zones in the area of the pupil, there is always a simultaneous (simultaneous) imaging of the far and near zones. The currently undesired image (far or near) is ideally suppressed by the brain and not perceived.
A very small pupil opening or a decentered lens fit can impair visual performance.
