This lens is the first multifocal-toric monthly disposable lens which, despite its huge range of powers, cylinder values and axes
is largely in stock at the manufacturer. This means that delivery usually takes just a few days instead of 2-3 weeks!
Thanks to an innovative manufacturing process, the manufacturer has succeeded in uniquely combining long and short-chain silicone chains so that the eyes are supplied with a high level of oxygen. In addition, thanks to Moisture Seal™ technology, the contact lens contains a permanently integrated wetting agent called polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as a moisture reservoir - the Bausch Lomb ULTRA™ therefore has significantly fewer deposits and ensures long-lasting wearing comfort.
The"low" addition is used for near additions of +0.75 to +1.50 dpt.
The"high" addition is used for near additions of +1.75 to +2.50 dpt.
This lens type is only suitable to a limited extent for near additions above +2.50 dpt.
Functional principle: simultaneous
With the simultaneous operating principle, the distance effect is in the center and the near effect in the adjacent periphery of the contact lens or vice versa.
The simultaneous positioning of the distance and near zones in the pupil area always results in a simultaneous image of the distance and near zones. The currently unwanted image (far or near) is ideally suppressed by the brain and not perceived.
A very small pupil opening or a decentered lens fit can impair visual performance.
