Menicon Omni Progressive
The Menicon Comfort Progressive is a gas permeable, multifocal, hard contact lens with spherical-aspherical back surface for distance and near vision.
Please note:
Please note:
There are 3 progression zone variations:
- Progressive ( for normal pupil diameters - distance zone in the center of the lens )
- Progressive+ ( for small pupil diameters - distance zone in the center of the lens )
- Progressive Inverse ( near zone in the center of the lens )
The lens is offered in two materials:
Menicon Z (Tisilfocon A) - DK 160 - highly gas permeable, for extended wear and with UV filter
Menicon EX (Tolofocon A) - DK 64 - normal gas permeable material without UV filter
Functional principle: simultaneous
In the simultaneous functional principle, the distance effect is located in the center and the near effect in the adjacent zone,
centre and the near effect in the periphery of the contact lens or vice versa. contact lens or vice versa.
The simultaneous placement of the distance and near zones in the area of the pupil always results in a simultaneous (simultaneous) image of the distance and near zones. The currently undesired image (far or near) is ideally suppressed by the brain and not perceived.
A very small pupil opening or a decentered lens fit can impair visual performance.
Please order this type of lens only if you are already wearing it successfully.
It will be made individually for you. Exchanges, cancellations or returns, even if the contact lens is in perfect condition, are excluded.
