Voluntary product recall
CooperVision, manufacturer of contact lenses and contact lens care products, informs of a voluntary product recall of its Hy-Care® All-in-One solution (60ml, 100ml, 250ml, 360ml and 380ml bottles).
Reason for the recall: The company's own quality tests have shown that the contact lens care solution does not provide adequate disinfection performance against high concentrations of certain yeasts under certain circumstances.
This is purely a precautionary measure by the manufacturer.
To date, no complaints have been received and there have been no confirmed incidents due to inadequate disinfection.
It is still important that you clean and disinfect your soft contact lenses. However, please stop using your HyCare® All-in-One solution immediately and dispose of the contact lens solution as soon as you have found an alternative contact lens care solution. Please keep the care solution bottle to receive your refund via the recall website:
