Delays in the delivery of contact lenses



Current delivery delays

This mainly affects contact lenses.
Due to the wide range of powers and shapes available, we do not keep contact lenses in stock but order them directly from the manufacturers. Whilst these used to be delivered overnight as a rule, it now takes 1–2 days longer. Furthermore, manufacturers’ warehouses are often no longer fully stocked, meaning that some variants have to be remanufactured.

At present, lenses from the manufacturers CooperVision and Menicon are particularly affected.
Wöhlk Contactlinsen is in the process of changing its stock management system, which is why contact lenses are not expected to be 
dispatched until the the middle of July!

The situation is better when it comes to lens care products.
We keep these in stock ourselves and can dispatch them on the same day if ordered by 12:00.
If you need your care products very quickly, please avoid placing mixed orders containing both contact lenses and care products, as the delivery time will depend on when we receive the contact lenses from the manufacturer.
